Keep navigating War Room

An updated map renderer and revised graphics recovery address corrupted terrain after a map is hidden or its graphics context resets. Zoom is limited to level 16 and tilt to 60 degrees, with gentler wheel navigation and bounded tile caching.

The existing terrain colours, all 15 native layer groups, dated imagery, saved views and original terrain/planning tools remain available. Terrain and imagery keep their source resolution and acquisition-date qualifications.

Recover the map and keep your work

The updated graphics path rebuilds terrain textures after context loss while retaining the primary map, layer choices and unsaved investigation work. Account changes still clear account-scoped map content during recovery.

Terrain geometry uses a separate elevation cache from the coloured relief display. Repeated mode changes reuse the active terrain renderer, while imagery comparison uses the same zoom limits and releases its extra map when closed.

Preserve the evidence workflow

Desktop and mobile browser checks covered repeated zooming, hidden-tab recovery, repeated graphics resets, fullscreen, existing height inspection and planning controls. A longer desktop session also exercised continued zooming and source refresh. Source dates, resolution and coverage limits remain visible.
