More fiscal data, with a dedicated deficit view

The public-finance collection now contains 317,813 numeric source values across 6,403 series. IMF fiscal-outlook coverage extends to 197 jurisdictions and historical fiscal compilations to 189. The collection includes reported data, historical compilations and explicitly labelled estimates/projections—not solely observed outcomes.

Monetary Predictions → Central banks, treasuries & budgets now offers Deficits & surpluses, IMF fiscal outlook and Fiscal history. Keep overall, primary and cyclically adjusted balances separate. Source signs differ: US monthly Treasury deficits are positive, while net-lending/borrowing balances normally show deficits as negative. An annual reference-year filter and original decimal history help make comparisons explicit.

Proposed budgets and official documents

The collection now includes 232 budget/account document references. New official-source links include the US FY2027 President’s Budget, Philippines FY2027 proposed-budget materials, Japan draft-budget highlights, and Nigeria appropriation bills and acts.

Proposed/draft and enacted-document labels reflect published titles, not independently verified current legislative status. A draft may later be enacted. Linked PDF totals are not parsed, and IMF projections are not government budget proposals. Coverage and access gaps remain visible.

Shortage mentions in the geopolitical country table

Geopolitical Outlook → Country table now includes Shortage mentions · 30 days. Open a count for supporting articles and excerpts, with fuel, food, electricity, water, medicine and industrial-input filters, plus 7-day, 30-day, 90-day and all-retained windows.

These are source-text mentions, not confirmed shortages, incident counts or severity scores. Risk/forecast wording and denial/resolution wording are labelled. Country-name and source-dossier associations provide context, not verified shortage locations. No matched reports does not prove that supplies are adequate. The initial production collection retained 29 deduplicated article URLs across all retained dates; source and language coverage are bounded.

MCP, guides and verification

The reviewed MCP catalogue now has 209 datasets, retaining all 208 previous routes. The public-finance API supports deficit and annual-year selections; shortage-mentions exposes source-linked records and country summaries.

The manual, PDF, contextual tours and Assistant references cover these additions. Candidate and live desktop, tablet and mobile workflows passed, including source inspection, export and replay cancellation.
