A steadier map
Zooming out now stops at a single-world view rather than drawing repeated copies of the map. Viewport-aware zoom limits, gentler wheel controls and disabled accidental map rotation make the camera browser easier to navigate. The zoom-out button reflects the actual limit of the current view.
Recovering the basemap
The Cameras workspace uses a dedicated map renderer with updated graphics recovery. Desktop and mobile-layout checks covered repeated graphics resets, fullscreen transitions, wheel controls and touch pinch gestures. Camera markers and geographic imagery were checked after recovery, including returning from a hidden workspace.
Map resizing now follows both width and height changes. Cluster clicks are guarded against an in-flight filter change, and worldwide map-area searches handle the date-line boundary correctly.
Try the updated controls
Reload Watchtower and open Cameras. The new Reset map view button returns to the overview or your selected location, and the map displays a loading message while basemap tiles arrive. As with other online maps, tile availability still depends on the provider and connection.
