Watchtower five-person workflow pilot

Organizer: arrange five real testers and send each their existing Watchtower pilot invitation. In the signed-in administrator account, open My Watchtower → Research pilot → Create an invitation. Existing access/entitlement rules apply. Invitations are single-use and expire; do not publish invitation tokens publicly.

Tester: open your invitation, sign in and read the optional participation consent. The task panel appears in Research pilot after joining. You can withdraw there to erase pilot counters and submitted feedback. Please use non-confidential examples; no real trading or payment action is needed.

Try these tasks before reading help

  1. Track a price. Find a listed instrument you recognize in Advanced and put its price in your Pro Brief. Explain which instrument/listing you selected.
  2. Track a country. Select a nation you follow and add it from the native view.
  3. Add a statistic. Add one country statistic. Identify its unit and year.
  4. Explain a snapshot. Compare a tracking card with a dated displayed reference. Which refreshes? What does the date mean?
  5. Find a source. Find the original source and its observation/publication date. Explain what is unknown or stale, if anything.
  6. Set an alert. Create a useful threshold/change/staleness/news watch. Find where notifications will appear. You do not need to wait for a real market crossing or deliberately manipulate a source to complete this task.

Use Start task and Submit task result in the task panel. Mark completed independently, completed with help, blocked or skipped; choose easy/mixed/hard and write the moment you hesitated. Elapsed time includes interruptions, so it is not a precise active-task-speed measurement. Do not guess success when a task was blocked. A saved watch starts with a baseline; no initial notification is expected.

Organizer review

Review coded participant task outcomes in the existing pilot administration view. Record the observed problem, affected task, frequency, severity and proposed fix. Keep raw feedback private; publish only accurate aggregate findings without personal/confidential details. Separate user observations from automated QA.

The target is five participants with submitted task feedback. There are no assumed completion rates or results. After submissions arrive, prioritize repeated blockers, fix them, and ask affected testers to retry the relevant task. A prepared task panel is not a conducted pilot.

Suggested invitation message

“Please help test Watchtower's daily research workflow. Try the six short tasks in the pilot guide, record where you get stuck, and submit your results in My Watchtower → Research pilot. Participation and feedback are optional. Use public, non-confidential examples. Your private watch/portfolio content is not part of the pilot report. Here is your individual invitation: [YOUR PRIVATE INVITATION LINK].”
