Put a native Advanced item in Pro Brief

You can add the price, country or data item you are already looking at, directly from Advanced. No MCP catalogue browsing or connection setup is needed for this workflow. Sign in with your normal Advanced/Pro access.

Prices and market items

Click an instrument or its price to open its native chart. Choose Put price in Pro Brief, check the instrument shown, then Put in Pro Brief. The action adds the exact selection and leaves you in Advanced; View Pro Brief opens your board. Repeated additions of the same tracking selection do not create duplicate cards.

Native market rows can also be right-clicked, or selected with Pick item for Pro Brief. Prices use exact provider symbols and preserve quote currencies/units. Crypto rows retain their native token ID when available. ECB references preserve the chosen currency pair and reference-fixing calculation; they are not silently switched to market quotes. Source-backed sovereign yield rows retain their native record identity. Ambiguous foreign listings are not guessed.

Price tracking refreshes about once a minute while Pro Brief is open and visible; other tracking selections refresh on the normal five-minute cycle. Source caches, delays, market hours and missing timestamps still apply. A retrieval timestamp or company-profile update is not a quote observation time. Continuous futures can roll.

Countries and country statistics

Select a country in the native Country Research or Geopolitical Outlook view, then use Put [country] in Pro Brief. The country-watch card retains its exact ISO identity and shows separately labelled risk-model and annual profile measures. Annual indicators can refer to different years; unknown risk is not a safe score.

For one country statistic, right-click its native value/row, or turn on Pick item for Pro Brief and click it. The country and exact indicator are retained. Latest follows the newest reported year; an explicitly selected reporting year stays fixed. Missing observations remain missing.

Other displayed data

Right-click a visible data cell/card, or use Pick item for Pro Brief on its workspace toolbar and click the item. Escape or the same toolbar button cancels selection mode. A supported native source selection becomes a tracking card. Other eligible public-workspace items offer Save displayed item to Pro Brief: an explicitly dated copy of the selected display, not a live or independently revalidated measurement. Review the displayed excerpt before saving it.

Displayed references retain bounded text and safe source links in your existing account-private snapshot collection. They do not capture hidden content, input fields or credentials. Private/operational workspaces use their existing dedicated permission-aware data actions rather than generic display capture. Source rights and qualifications still apply. Saved excerpts are limited to4,000characters; existing100snapshot/64KiBitem/5MiBaccount bounds remain. Remove snapshots through Pro Brief → Add data → My data → My saved data snapshots.

Saving and access

Adding from Advanced appends to the verified account's saved brief without replacing its current cards. A changed layout, full board, storage failure, account switch, replay or invalid source identity prevents an unintended addition. Existing 24card limits remain. The version5format reads earlier layouts and retains individual-value replacements. Explicit account Layout sync carries the new tracking definitions; the existing preference-size limits still apply.
