The original monitor, in the newer map
The original catastrophe zones and their reference geometry, colors and icons are now available in the Global Insurance map. An Original monitor view brings across the insurer/market rows, hazard arrays and heuristic alerts, with their original source qualifications.
The existing international insurance statistics, capital ratios, protection gaps and financial reporting periods remain available alongside these map layers.
At verification, the transferred original monitor contained 8 reference zones, 20 insurer/market rows and 7 heuristic alerts. The financial catalogue retained 230,307 stored observations and its 250-country/territory reference directory; a directory entry does not imply current data coverage.
Worldwide physical hazards and reporting
Explore source-qualified earthquake, thermal/fire, flood, storm, volcano/ash, landslide and other weather-hazard families, together with military/conflict, drone, riot-related, protest-related and other civil-unrest reporting. Optional layers add country reporting pressure, authored conflict corridors, weather guidance and provisional conflict history.
Source points, warning polygons and airborne-ash areas keep their location and time basis. Icons identify the type of evidence; clusters count map references. Filters support family, source, country context, text and 1-, 7-, 30- or 90-day source windows.
Read the evidence behind each marker
Select an icon, area or cluster to inspect the source record. Named cities and countries in reports are labelled reference anchors rather than verified incident GPS locations. Publisher-country fallback pins and unsupported inferred place matches are withheld, while unresolved records remain in the evidence list.
Observations, warnings, forecasts, reports and historical records remain distinct. Source-stale and expired event records can be inspected as dated context. The original authored reference zones remain identifiable even when their model snapshot is stale.
Exports refresh the same filter selection to a coherent source snapshot before downloading, keeping record metadata and map geometry aligned as feeds update. Original source clocks remain attached.

Refresh Watchtower and open Insurance Risk & Resilience. Use Layers for the worldwide stress groups, Worldwide stress for the evidence list, and Original monitor for the transferred data. Source details, exports and the existing read-only insurance data route include the new evidence.
Coverage is bounded by the available sources and their reporting windows. The map supplies insurance-relevant context; it does not infer insured losses, carrier underwriting exposure, reinsurance attachment or a blended global insurance score from event proximity.
The stress lens keeps generic financial country markers separate from event icons. Compact mobile data tabs leave more room for the selected evidence and source details.
