A clearer introduction
Watchtower now opens with a new branded loading screen: the animated shield sits above a softly lit, three-dimensional-style orbital base, with subtle shadows and an indeterminate loading rail. The wordmark remains readable as the shield turns.
Foundation, Workspace and Data indicators follow the application's actual startup status messages. The screen hands off through the existing readiness lifecycle, without adding an artificial wait or presenting an invented loading percentage.
Lightweight motion, with control
The supplied animated artwork has been optimized from approximately 6.24 MB to 1.92 MB while keeping its 4.8-second loop. A small static alternative appears first and is used for reduced-motion preferences, data-saving mode and artwork-loading failures.
You can pause or resume the animation. Motion resources are released after startup, and the loading layout adapts to desktop, mobile portrait and landscape screens. If startup takes longer, recovery controls offer a reload or access to the available workspace when the application runtime can handle it.
