Find reported locations
Open Cameras, then Flock locations. Browse the map, search reported tags or an OSM identifier, filter by country context, or find a populated place and search a nearby radius. Numbered markers summarize nearby map records; zoom in to inspect individual source points.
The initial reviewed global snapshot contained 116,480 Flock-labelled nodes across 56 published regions. These are OpenStreetMap community records distributed through DeFlock, not a complete or independently verified inventory of Flock hardware. Counts describe mapped records and may change with the source.
Inspect positioning and provenance
Details retain reported coordinates, manufacturer/brand/operator tags, direction text and source links. Only unambiguous compass or numeric bearings are decoded; no viewing range or coverage cone is inferred. Country context is an approximate Natural Earth point-in-country assignment.
The source covers ALPR-tagged OSM nodes. Untagged locations, other Flock products and unreported installations are outside that coverage. Map listings do not establish live operating status, and this view provides location metadata rather than video or vehicle records.
Track source changes
Watchtower checks the published index hourly and accepts an update after fetching every listed region and rechecking the index version. Failed or incomplete reads retain the previous dated snapshot. Publisher generation time, collection time and tracker observation times are shown separately; aged source data is labelled.
Track up to 200 selected locations locally for your account in this browser, with export/import recovery. All indexed locations are checked for source changes independently of that saved list. Tracking does not arm notifications. History begins with Watchtower indexing, and mapped position or listing changes do not prove physical movement, installation or removal.
Open data and existing camera walls
The Coverage section links to a complete compressed GeoJSON export of the current mapped dataset with OpenStreetMap attribution and ODbL 1.0 licensing. Source-change history is bounded to up to 90 days and 48 changes per location, subject to a shared 50,000-change limit.
The existing public-camera explorer and live walls remain available beside the new view. Reload Watchtower to load the new Cameras navigation.
