Source requests can recover after a disconnect

Interrupted upstream responses now finish with a clear error instead of leaving shared requests pending. This repairs a failure path affecting weather warnings and the network and power views that depend on them. Provider outages and unavailable source records remain visible.

Less work on the main thread

Large Global Politics snapshot parsing and matching now run in a bounded background reader. Public quote subprocess work is also moved off the router's main thread. Repeated news-priority text checks reuse results while retaining current age checks and original source dates.

Fiscal responses use the existing asynchronous JSON decoder, shared data consumers receive separate processing turns, and the legacy tax model defers work while it is not needed. Political values, market histories, missing values and source qualification rules are retained.

Brief controls and snapshot recovery

Pro Brief handles a temporarily missing mount without losing its existing controls and draft. Hazards and drone views recover coherent snapshots when source generations change. App Health only acknowledges the specific recovered conflict; persistent failures remain reported.

Where to try it

Reload Watchtower and open Global Politics, Freedom & Prosperity, Pro Brief, Hazards or the drone layer. These changes address reproduced software failure paths. They do not establish that every historical network, device, provider or long-session performance report is resolved.
