A consistent light workspace
The light-theme update covers panel backgrounds, tables, controls, overlays, chart labels and SVG backgrounds. It also handles styles introduced when a workspace loads on demand, rather than only changing the initial page.
Previously dark container backgrounds in country, geopolitical and related views have been corrected. Built-in War Room and commodities pages inherit the parent workspace’s theme.
Maps and globes follow the setting
Map backgrounds and supported dark basemaps adapt to light mode, and globe backgrounds and labels follow the selected theme. Switching back to dark mode restores the appropriate appearance.
The update changes presentation, not data values or model calculations. Photographs, video and imagery retain their source appearance rather than being colour-inverted. Data-colour legends and map expressions remain separate from interface backgrounds.
Checked across desktop and mobile views
The release was checked across 75 workspace tabs at desktop and mobile sizes. Additional checks covered dynamic content, chart backgrounds, theme switching, globe presentation and the built-in embedded pages.
These browser checks support the release without claiming certification of every device or third-party embedded service. Refresh an already-open Watchtower tab to load the updated application assets.
