Two sentiment views, side by side

Market Overview now has separate Fear & Greed and Market Tone tabs. The restored fear/greed view covers US equities, Europe, Asia-Pacific, crypto, commodities, forex and bonds, plus an equal-weight composite of the available cross-asset gauges. Regional Market Tone remains available.

The new view also includes seven regional scopes and the 44 country markets in the current benchmark registry. Search, source-input details and fullscreen make the larger set easier to explore. These are Watchtower-calculated heuristics, with formulas and eligible-input counts shown, rather than independently published indexes or calibrated forecasts. Missing and stale inputs remain unavailable.

Publisher indexes keep their own identity

A publisher directory links to CNN Fear & Greed for US equities, Alternative.me for Bitcoin-focused sentiment, CoinMarketCap for broader crypto sentiment, and Tickertape Market Mood Index for India. These are links to the publishers' current pages, not live integrations or an exhaustive catalogue of every sentiment index. Publisher values are not replaced by Watchtower's regional calculations.

Bond moves in three clearly labelled units

US curve and global yield rows now display basis points, percentage-point moves and relative percentage changes in yield. Bond evidence details, yield CSV exports and the Global Bonds US-curve table use the same conversions.

A yield rising from 4.00% to 4.10% has moved 10 basis points, or 0.10 percentage points; the relative change in yield is 2.50%. That relative percentage is not a bond-price return. Missing changes, unknown source units and nonpositive previous yields retain explicit unavailable values where a conversion is not supported.
