Trade-map query repairs

Commodity Atlas now merges ordered index ranges instead of repeatedly sorting the full trade catalogue. Empty direction selections are identified through indexed metadata. Country filters, source records, relationship classes, limits and result ordering are retained; mapped trade relationships remain distinct from physical transport routes.

At startup, Atlas checks cached inventory metadata against the immutable source snapshot identity and its content checksum. Retained source counts and coverage statements stay unchanged.

Responsive background work

Financial-history reads and writes use a bounded asynchronous queue. Larger valid snapshot payloads are passed to SQLite without the operating system's command-argument size limit, and failed writes can be retried without poisoning duplicate detection. Existing retention and transaction boundaries remain in place.

Global Politics prepares country-name aliases once per matching pass while retaining the same market associations and source clocks.

Browser recovery and aircraft processing

Maps created inside hidden workspaces now initialize their projection before later updates, avoiding an undefined-matrix failure when tabs or source layers change. Hidden-map rendering and resource controls remain in place.

Aircraft JSON decoding uses the shared background decoder and large aircraft-row conversions yield between small batches. Account and replay changes discard unfinished work. An unused hidden rule editor no longer scans the full loaded-input catalogue; saved rules and selected draft inputs retain their observation behavior.

Startup payment-configuration reads now recover from temporary failures with a small bounded retry sequence. Genuine disabled-provider states remain disabled. App Health adds privacy-scoped script attribution where the browser supports it so remaining stalls can be investigated more precisely.

Opening views and date-filtered events

Ops bootstrap combines independent source reads in parallel and shares an in-progress refresh. A recent aggregate, up to five minutes old, can remain visible while a background refresh starts, explicitly marked as retained with its original timestamp.

Linked Events date-range summaries use an existing covering index, avoiding large historical-record scans that could exhaust the reader deadline. Map reads fetch only the columns they display. Native snapshot checks, filters, pagination, account gates and retained event/history records are preserved.
