A lighter path into the workspace

Startup gives the selected screen a head start while retaining the existing data tasks and monitoring schedules. Compatible simultaneous reads share one request, with separate cancellation and response objects for each consumer. Active-screen reads have reserved request capacity, and existing request timeouts begin at dispatch rather than while waiting in the shared queue. Only requests already in flight are shared; existing source caches and explicit refresh behavior are retained.

Payment configuration and portfolio restoration no longer hold up the whole application. Portfolio edits and quote updates continue to respect account-scoped restoration checks. The company universe loads when Companies is opened, and rejected audio autoplay no longer preloads the soundtrack.

Smaller delivery and on-demand presentation

The public app now supports HTTP/2. New versioned assets have precompressed Brotli and gzip variants, and the main shared stylesheet is cached separately from the application HTML. Country-boundary geometry is delivered compressed with the same decoded content.

Sixteen presentation routines move into on-demand workspace files with their original bodies preserved. Data collection, calculation and persistence functions remain in the shared core. Hidden presentation work and broad scroll-repair scans are reduced while existing map recovery, light/dark themes and the branded loading artwork are retained.

Linked Events opens with less work

The first page, essential counts and filter labels arrive in one snapshot-consistent response. Detailed source coverage loads when Sources is opened. Feed, timeline and source tables render when selected, and unchanged pages are not rebuilt during refreshes.

Additional query indexes and planner statistics improve common reads. Repeated source-cache lookups are deduplicated, and unchanged normalized source projections are reused with content, code-version and integrity checks. Source freshness and event history are still evaluated separately on every collection.

Preserving the data and workflows

Frozen-source comparisons checked the original and optimized event indexes for identical records, values, provenance, entities, memberships, revisions and timestamps. Source-conservation checks, account/payment regressions, and desktop/mobile workspace checks accompany the release.

The changes improve loading and delivery; they do not change scoring formulas, source-native evidence, or the meaning of forecasts and associations. Refresh times still depend on the source, network and device. Reload Watchtower to use the updated application.
