Wider public-source coverage
The source catalogue now contains43 configured public adapters and10 inactive reference paths. Power integrations cover eight utility or authority selections, including UK Power Networks, National Grid Electricity Distribution, BC Hydro, Cal OES, Maryland iMAP, Glitre Nett, Energex via Brisbane City Council and Rochester Public Utilities. These service areas do not cover every utility or every country.
IODA country measurements sit alongside network, cloud and telecom-provider status. Eighteen banking/payment-provider adapters include provider notices and bank-integration services. The retained direct-publisher news collection contributes conservative multilingual outage matches. Source availability and original attribution are shown in Coverage.
Explore the evidence
Use the Power/grid, Internet+networks and Banking/payments controls, country-reference and evidence filters, source-linked record details and scoped export. Snapshot pagination preserves a consistent selection; six descriptive normalized data points expose monitored record inventories and source availability.
Provider reports, authority-compiled records, measurement intervals, component status, news reports, notices, maintenance and resolved records remain distinct. Country or metro reference markers are not complete impact areas; unlocated incidents stay in the list. Small-count utility points are privacy-rounded.
Coverage and interpretation
This is a curated observatory, not a complete worldwide outage census. A provider API incident does not establish a whole-bank failure or national internet blackout; the map makes no solvency claim. Unknown, stale, restricted and partial source states remain visible rather than becoming healthy zeros.
Source event/update, publisher snapshot and collection times remain separate. Restoration estimates and disappearing records are not proof of restoration. Original source rights apply; contracted and credentialed reference feeds remain inactive.
