Country flags alongside stock information
Flags now appear in stock movers, market quote-search cards, company screening and comparison tables, company details, stock chart headers and stock holdings. Existing index flags, commodity icons and crypto symbols remain available.
The stock reference source identifies Taiwan for TSM, Canada for Shopify and the Netherlands for ASML even when their shares are quoted on US exchanges. Country names and source information are available in flag labels and stock evidence details.
Company country and listing country stay distinct
TradingView's company-country field is matched to the exchange-qualified stock identity. It is a provider reference, not an independently verified legal-domicile determination. When that field is unavailable, a visible Listing label identifies an exchange-country fallback; an unclassified marker is shown if neither is known.
Quote prices and existing financial calculations retain their original inputs. Country metadata is best-effort and bounded, and missing country data does not turn into a guessed nationality. Stock CSV exports include company country, listing country and the displayed flag basis.
