Click a window and choose a feed
Refresh Watchtower and open Monitor → Pro Brief. Click a window heading or Choose feed, search for a subject, check its preview and select Use this feed. The original seven sections remain available as starting choices. Add window creates another selection; Window options moves, resizes or removes it. Undo and Restore original layout are included.
Choose a summary, source records or up to eight named fields. Optional source filters use that dataset’s country, year, view and other native meanings. The reviewed catalogue currently contains 131 normalized public point definitions and 208 bounded dataset-feed choices. Listing a source does not guarantee current availability, complete coverage or a useful result without its required filters.
Keep the context with the numbers
Windows and exports retain source state, dates, units, definitions and preview bounds. A selected fiscal year remains distinct from a series’ latest period; source estimate and projection labels travel with the values. Missing data is not zero, and a model index is not automatically a probability.
Layout choices are saved for the verified account in the current browser. Export and import layout move definitions deliberately between browsers; Export brief includes the selected windows in their current order. This does not add automatic cloud synchronization. The original News window retains its keyword and other news preferences.
An updated extended guide
The web manual, searchable PDF, Markdown reference, interactive tour and Assistant help now explain configurable windows alongside the current War Room, Geopolitical Futures, government finance, fiscal proposals, shortage mentions and applied-context Assistant workflows. The guide retains all 78 registered workspaces and documents 131 normalized point definitions.
The PDF has 165 pages with bookmarks and links. Open the current guide’s Pro Brief chapter for step-by-step instructions, or use Help / Tour in Watchtower. Source dates and coverage limits remain authoritative; updating the manual does not make an old observation new.
